How long will your sauces keep?
Our sauces contain no preservatives. Once opened, the sauces must be refrigerated. The Butter Chicken and Coconut Masala will keep for about a week after opening. The Classic Punjabi will keep for about a month, the Vindaloo for about 3 months and the Tandoori Marinade for about 6 months. Unopened, the sauces are best if used within 3 years.
Do the sauces need to be kept refrigerated?
Once opened, yes.
Can I dilute the sauces?
Yes, if you like but it's not necessary. You can add broth, coconut milk, plain yogurt or cream to any of our sauces. If you are cooking red meat in the sauces, which takes longer to cook, you may need to add water to replace what is lost during cooking and prevent the sauce from becoming too thick.
Can I freeze your products?
Yes, absolutely, just be sure there is enough room in the jar to allow for expansion or the jar may crack or break; or pour into an ice cube tray, freeze and place in a ziplock freezer bag.
Are they vegetarian, vegan or gluten free?
Yes, our products are vegetarian, gluten free and suitable for a paleo diet. The Butter Chicken contains dairy (cream and butter) so is not suitable for a vegan diet.
Are your products all natural?
Yes, there are no artificial colors, flavors, or fillers added to any of our products.
Do they contain preservatives?
No, we use only natural acidifiers like lemon and vinegar to preserve our sauces.
What kind of vegetable oil do you use?
Non-genetically modified (non-GMO) canola oil.

Are your ingredients local?
To the degree possible, we use fresh local ingredients. While our spices come from India, our onions, cream and butter come from Washington State. Our garlic comes from California and our ginger from Australia.
